The Story Behind Our Chicago Injury Law Firm
Marc Alberts began his career on the insurance defense side, learning firsthand how carriers evaluate and fight serious injury claims before choosing to represent injured people and their families instead. Alberts & Eiler, P.C. grew from that shift in perspective, bringing together attorneys who shared a commitment to fighting for the “little guy” against powerful insurance companies. In 2015, Marc Alberts, Glenn Curran, and Todd Eiler combined their experience to form the current firm, blending trial skill, strategic research, and client-centered advocacy. Today, our Chicago personal injury law firm focuses on helping accident and injury victims across Illinois rebuild with dignity, financial security, and a sense that someone is finally in their corner.

Marc D. Alberts
Managing Partner and Founder
Marc began his career as an insurance company lawyer, where he spent several years learning how insurance companies handle and evaluate personal injury claims and lawsuits. This unique perspective gives Marc the ability to aggressively represent clients who have suffered personal injuries.
Todd A. Eiler
Partner
Todd concentrates his practice in the areas of wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, construction litigation, products liability, nursing home abuse and neglect and civil rights. His experience in litigation, mediation, and arbitration make him an incredible asset in any personal injury case.
Maggie Sylvester
Paralegal
Maggie Sylvester has been a dedicated paralegal with Alberts & Eiler, P.C. since June 2022. She supports the firm’s personal injury practice with strong organizational skills and client focused attention. Maggie is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to assist and connect with a wider range of clients. In her free time Maggie enjoys cozy evenings with her family, planning ahead for busy days, and celebrating life's little milestones.
Franca Finch
Paralegal
Franca has been a paralegal at Alberts & Eiler, P.C. for over a year. She graduated from Lake Forest College earning a double major in both Business and Philosophy. Franca played four years of women's varsity soccer at the collegiate level. Franca works as a paralegal for the litigation division of the firm and is dedicated to working efficiently on each case that comes in. In her free time, Franca still plays competitive soccer and is an avid Chicago sports fan.
